Femto-LASIK
LASIK (laser in situ keratomileusis) is the most common form of laser vision correction. In "blade-free" Femto-LASIK, two lasers are used: a femtosecond laser creates a thin protective flap, which the surgeon lifts so that an excimer laser can reshape the cornea underneath. The flap is then smoothed back and, as the AAO explains, attaches on its own within two to three minutes, without stitches. Because the corneal skin layer stays intact, vision usually clears quickly, and many people are back at work the next day. The trade-off is the flap itself: you must not rub your eyes in the early weeks, and you should avoid contact sports for at least a month. If you are searching for LASIK eye surgery in Turkey or LASIK in Istanbul, this is the treatment you are looking for.
