Why hotel and transfers are separate: many advertised Istanbul prices bundle a hotel and transfers into one figure. We keep them separate so you can compare the medical price like for like, choose the hotel and room that suit you and anyone travelling with you, and avoid paying for nights you don't need. If you'd rather not organise anything yourself, your coordinator can book both for you.

Options you can add

These are choices, not upsells. Medical options are only offered if your surgeon recommends them for your eyes.

Premium lens for cataract surgery

Instead of a standard monofocal lens, choose a trifocal, EDOF or toric lens that also reduces your need for glasses: {{£ premium lens price}} per eye. Your surgeon will tell you honestly whether your eyes suit a premium lens.

A different laser method

Surface laser, Femto-LASIK and SMILE Pro are priced differently. Your surgeon recommends the method from your corneal measurements; if more than one is safe for you, you choose.

Combining treatments in one trip

Eyelid surgery (upper or lower blepharoplasty, or ptosis correction) is often combined with lens surgery by Prof. Dr. Satıcı in the same trip: {{£ eyelid add-on price}}. Whether two procedures can be done in one stay is your surgeon's decision.

Hotel choice and room type

{{hotel options, e.g. standard and superior rooms, family rooms for a companion}}, from {{hotel price}} per night.

Airport transfers

From {{transfer price}}, each way or return.

Extra nights

Stay longer to rest or see Istanbul once your surgeon has cleared you: {{extra night price}}.

How to book your eye surgery package

  1. Send your details

Share your glasses or contact-lens prescription and any recent eye reports through our free online consultation or WhatsApp. You will get a reply within {{response time}}.

  2. A surgeon reviews your case

Prof. Dr. Satıcı, Doç. Dr. Özer or Op. Dr. Bayram, depending on your eyes, suggests the treatments that may suit you. You can ask questions by video call.

  3. Get your written quote

Your quote is a filled-in package card: treatment, surgeon, price, everything included, and the optional extras with their prices. Nothing is added later without your agreement.

  4. Choose your extras

Tell us if you'd like us to book a hotel and airport transfers. If you prefer to book your own, that's fine.

  5. Pay your deposit and fix your dates

{{payment terms: deposit amount, how it is paid and refund conditions}}. We send a visa letter if you need one and suggest suitable flight times; you book your own flights.

  6. Arrive in Istanbul

Your full eye examination with your surgeon is usually the next morning. Your surgery takes place in a fully equipped, Ministry of Health–licensed operating theatre in Istanbul, and your interpreter stays with you throughout.

  7. Check-ups and home

Your surgeon checks your eyes again before you fly. Back home, your coordinator stays in touch and your surgeon reviews your progress by video at the agreed intervals.

Before you book any package: a quick checklist

UK public-health guidance on travelling for treatment gives sensible advice wherever you book. Use it to check our packages too:

  • Get the costs in writing, including who pays for additional treatment, aftercare, medicines, an extended stay and local follow-up.
  • Buy suitable travel insurance and tell your insurer you are travelling for treatment.
  • Stay long enough to recover before travelling home, and let your surgeon confirm you are fit to fly.
  • Take copies of all your records and scans home with you.
  • Know how your aftercare will be coordinated once you are back home.
  • Walk away from pressure. Hard selling, pressure to decide quickly or no discussion of possible complications are warning signs.

Our laser eye surgery package includes your pre-operative examination and scans, laser treatment of both eyes by your named surgeon, medication, follow-up checks in Istanbul, a personal interpreter, a coordinator and remote follow-up. Hotel and airport transfers are optional extras at a separate charge, and flights are not included. Elsewhere, what a "package" includes varies widely, so always ask for a written list.

No. Hotel and airport transfers are a separate charge. We are happy to book them for you if you ask ({{nights}} nights from {{hotel price}}; transfers from {{transfer price}}), or you can arrange your own.

Plan for 3–5 days for laser eye surgery and 5–7 days for lens replacement or cataract surgery, including your examination, surgery and follow-up checks. For ICL, cross-linking and more complex cornea treatment, your surgeon tells you after reviewing your case.

Yes, you're welcome to bring a companion. Their flights and hotel room are booked and paid separately; we can include a twin or family room when we book your hotel.

Often, yes. Lens replacement and eyelid surgery are commonly combined with Prof. Dr. Satıcı in one stay. Your surgeon decides what is safe to combine and how long you need to stay, and both are written in your quote.

Most patients can fly 1–3 days after laser eye surgery and about 3–7 days after lens or cataract surgery, once their surgeon has checked the eye. Your surgeon confirms you are fit to fly at your last check-up in Istanbul.

Your coordinator stays in touch, and your surgeon reviews your recovery by video at agreed intervals. If you need to be seen in person, we help you arrange it with a local optometrist or ophthalmologist and share your full surgical records. {{complication and re-treatment policy}}

Yes. Buy travel insurance before you travel and tell your insurer you are having treatment abroad, because standard policies may not cover planned treatment. Travel insurance is not included in any package.

You pay a deposit to secure your dates and the balance in Istanbul: {{payment terms}}. Your quote states exactly when the deposit is refundable, and your quoted price is valid for {{quote validity period}}.

No. Each price depends on the treatment, the method or lens your surgeon recommends and whether one or both eyes are treated. The "price from" on each card is a starting point; your exact price is confirmed in writing by your surgeon after your free assessment.
