LASIK eye surgery side effects such as dry eye, glare and halos are common at first and usually fade within months, while serious complications are rare. A review quoted by the American Academy of Ophthalmology found 99.5% of eyes reached 20\/40 vision or better, and about 95% of patients are satisfied.
